Igor would both benefit from Arlana’s marriage to Brian to
Ariana raised her eyebrow and smiled when she saw how anxious Gwen seemed to be. “Yes.”
“Really? That's awesome!” Gwen exclaimed.
She continued, “I knew it! | knew that Mr. Lodge still had feelings for you. Otherwise, he’d never have asked you

like to rest in the break room for a bit?”
It was obvious that John was acting perfunctorily with Ariana.
Although Lodge Co.’s withdrawal was a huge deal, it still wasn’t going to cause Torrey Co. to face bankruptcy.
John was just exaggerating things. He was probably doing so just to help Gwen convince Ariana to get back on to
Brian's good side again.

When John saw her, he immediately stopped her and said, “Can’t you see that Ms. Torrey is here? Givethat!
