Chapter 1347

Upon hearing this, Fiona didn't get upset. She casually flicked a stray lock of hair off her shoulder, a slight smirk

playing at the corners of her eyes. "Looks like you don't really want to save him," she said with a cool chuckle.

Her subordinate's eyes went wide with shock. "Of course, | want to!"

He was on the verge of letting out a string of curses, but with Jackson right there, he was at a loss for words. All

he could do was swallow his frustration. "Really now? If you want to save him and there's no other option, why

not givea shot?"

You? Give it a shot? At your age, what could you possibly know?

"Mr. Woods?" The subordinate was nearly beside himself with anger, shooting Jackson a look that pleaded for

him to rein in his associate.

Jackson had been eyeing Fiona thoughtfully, as if weighing his options. After a moment, he finally spoke, turning

his gaze back to her. "How sure are you?"

"I haven't seen the patient yet, so it's tough to say," Fiona replied honestly. "But from what you've described, I've

got a rough idea."

Her lips curled into a slight grin. "I'd say I'm about ninety percent sure."

The remaining ten percent was her way of staying humble. After all, she'd never had a patient she couldn't help.

The subordinate, seeing her confidence, was both angry and worried. Was Mr. Woods really considering letting

her handle this?

He was eager to convince Jackson otherwise, but before he could speak, Jackson said, "Alright, | trust you."

Those four words left them both stunned.

Fiona was taken aback because she hadn't expected Jackson to say that. They'd only met a few times, yet he

seemed to have a surprising amount of trust in her.

And the subordinate was floored because Jackson actually trusted her! Letting a young girl treat Adam when so

many doctors had failed!

"Mr. Woods..."

"No need to say more." Jackson

reached out, gently gripping Fiona's wrist through her sleeve. "I'll take her in to assess the situation. You go find

Séraphine as | instructed."

The young lady might indeed have sserious skills, but he needed to cover all bases.

Adam's subordinate was both

annoyed and anxious, but with Jackson's firm decision, he had no choice but to comply. He thought bitterly, let

her try then. If she turns out to be all talk, we'll see how she handles it!

Fiona followed Jackson to the emergency room, where several doctors were waiting, looking quite helpless.

Seeing Jackson, they hurried to greet him. "Mr. Woods."

"We can't do anything for Mr. Adam. Finding Séraphine might be his only chance."

"Explain the situation to her and let her give it a go," Jackson instructed coolly.

The doctors, following his gaze, noticed Fiona standing beside him.

The girl looked barely seventeen or eighteen, still very young.

But that wasn't the main issue.

The real kicker was Jackson wanting this young girl to treat the patient?!

They wondered if they were hearing things.

"You haven't managed to help him, so | brought someone who can. Any objections?" Jackson's tone carried a

trace of annoyance. "Don't waste time." Adam's condition was dire.

"But..." The doctors thought Jackson

was being reckless. What could a young girl possibly do? They wanted to protest, but Jackson's sharp look made

them hesitate, and they bit their tongues.
