Reborn Omega: Avenge Herself Like an Alpha
Chapter 39 The Last Bet
Aubrey’s POV
Ella’s condition was still unstable. My body needed tto fully recover.
More importantly, | couldn't let anyone know | had awakened my wolf-especially not that fny wolf, Ella, was the
fated mate of an Alpha. If word got out, the pack would demand | perform the mating ritual immediately. My

Pack wanted to preserve.
But I no longer wanted to be his post

mate.
Since Alpha Henry had no feelings for me, the only way
to gain his protection... was to prove my value.
“Our Rosan Peaks range provides herbs that supply all twelve major southern packs‘ potion guilds,” | said,

“We pay triple the price just to buy back potions made from our own herbs!”
“They harvest rare herbs for next to nothing. Then we pay through the nose to get the medicine we need. The
money always flows south. Is that fair?”
Because of this imbalance, even promising young wolf medics were lured south by high pay and better labs.
Even here in Shadowmoon Pack-the largest in the north-our medical knowledge was falling behind.
In my past life, when Bailey stole my research, she was immediately praised as a genius. | was locked away and
knew nothing of it until it was too late.
| took a breath and pressed on. “The mountains will run dry, Alpha. But the greed of those who exploit them is
endless. We must stop relying on southern medicine. We must develop our own.”
| also needed to prepare for the K-virus this time. | wouldn't let so many innocent werewolves die again.
Henry seemed surprised at first, but it quickly turned into the classic Alpha scoff. “I'm well aware of all this. No
one’s been able to change it.”
“I can.” My voice was steady. Firm. “Givethree years. I'll build a top-tier wolf medic team. We'll make
Shadowmoon Pack the center of potion production and move billions across the packs.”
| paused and looked him straight in the eyes.
“But in return, you'll have to do something for me.”
He crossed his arms. “Go on.”
His tone was indifferent, like he didn’t takeseriously.
Of course he didn’t. I'd never told anyone I'd inherited my grandfather's techniques-let alone surpassed him.
“If you don’t believe me...” | said, stepping forward, “then letprove it.”
Henry's POV
Chapter 39 The Last Bet
Prove it? How?
Before | could react, she pulled a golden needle from who-knows-where-and in the blink of an eye. stabbed it
into my chest.
“What the hell did you just do?!”
My chest started burning. | touched the spot over and over, but the needle was gone.
Aubrey stumbled, barely steady on her feet. She gavea weak smile. “Relax. That was a Heart Pulse Needle.
It'll dissolve in about a month. But until then, your senses... will be sharper than ever.”
She didn’t finish.
She collapsed.
| caught her instinctively. “Aubrey?! What's wrong?!”

She slumped against me, weak and nearly unconscious-but her fingers clutched my shirt with desperate
strength. Like she was clinging to her last chance.
“...I'm good. | am good at this... Alpha Henry, just believe in me, okay? Just this once...”
The wind lifted her damp hair and brushed it against my cheek, as if nature itself had paused to take her side. In
that moment, she didn’t look like the fierce, sharp-tongued Omega from earlier.
She looked like someone the whole world had abandoned... staking her life on one final gamble.
And I...
| caved.
“...Fine,” | said quietly. “Whatever it is you want-I'll do it.”
