His entire body went rigid before he instinctively dropped to his knees, cradling Rachel in his arms. "Rachel! Wake up! Wake up!" he shouted desperately. But no matter how much he yelled, Rachel remained motionless. She didn't stir, didn't even blink.
At that moment, a deep fear gripped Jeffrey. It felt like his entire world was crumbling.
His heart pounded as a terrifying thought took hold-what if the sister who had always stood by him, protected him, and cared for him never opened her eyes again? What if she stopped breathing right there in front of him? Thankfully, the restaurant staff reacted quickly.

Jeffrey hurried over, his voice unsteady with worry. "D-Doctor, how's my sister?" "She's stable for now. Out of immediate danger," the doctor replied. "Cseein ten minutes." Jeffrey let out a breath he didn't even realize he was holding.
Relief washed over him, leaving him completely drained, "Okay," he m mumbled. He was exhausted, but it didn't matter.
Rachel was safe. If anything had happened to her, he didn't even Want to imagine what he would have done.
He stood there, watching as she was carefully wheeled into her hospital room. Only after seeing her safely inside did he finally turn and head to find the doctor.
