Chapter 62
They had a point. After the experts Dad sent over returned, my new hires were all maintenance staff with
average skills. Relying on them to transform the company wasn't going to work.
| couldn't help but wonder where | could find talent. Even if | managed to find someone qualified, they probably
wouldn't want to join my small, half-baked company.
Just when | was feeling frustrated, | suddenly got a call from Mom.
"Will, Pelagos Estates is pretty popular right now. I've found a nice place. Why don't you go pay for it and handle
the transfer paperwork?"
| shook my head. "Mom, | already have Imperia Manor. | don't need another villa."
"But you never go there! You obviously don't like it. Letbuy you another one, okay? Think of it as an
investment in real estate."

| couldn't argue with Mom, so | took a taxi to the Pelagos Estates. This area was quite far from the school, and |
ended up spending over a hundred dollars just on the ride.
However, Mom had a good eye. The villa community was beautifully landscaped and looked like a modern
neighborhood.
It combined modern architecture with traditional garden elegance. A long stream ran between the two lanes at
the entrance, adding to the overall harmony of the place. For investment purposes, it truly was a great choice.
When | arrived at the sales office, | walked up to the front desk and requested a brochure to look through.
Suddenly, | overheard a couple chatting nearby.
"Honey, there's nowhere as stunning as this place. | really want to buy it," the woman said.
"My savings only cover the down payment. I'd be stuck paying over a thousand dollars a month after that. It's
just too much," the man replied.
"Con! You're one of the founders of the hit g'Lover's Promise’. How can you possibly be broke? Don't try
to fool me! You just don't want to buysomething nice," the woman insisted.
| was surprised to learn that the man was one of the founders of "Lover's Promise".
| knew that game. It was quite popular among girls. If he was one of its founders,
he had to be incredibly talented and have a solid grasp of the market. | needed to recruit him for my company.
While | was thinking about how to approach him, a beautiful woman suddenly slammed the brochure right into
my face.
"What are you staring at?"
| was taken aback. "I wasn't looking at you."
"Don't play dumb! You've been staring atwithout blinking for ages. Do you think I'm blind?"
She was wearing a tight red dress that looked like it was about to burst at the
seams.
To be honest, | hadn't really noticed her at first, but now I couldn't help but steal a few more glances.

Her dress was way too tight. Not only was her bust almost spilling out, but it also left a red mark on her thigh.
The quality of that red dress was impressive. It hadn't ripped apart despite the strain.
When the beauty sawstill looking, she turned to her husband to complain. "Honey, that poor loser has been
staring at me!"
Her husband, dressed in a black striped suit with a large gold ring on his finger, was chatting with the sales staff.
He had a look that was neither too fancy nor too shabby.
Upon hearing her complaint, he shota glare.
"What the hell are you looking at? Never seen a beautiful woman before? If you want to see one, go find your
own. If you have no game, then get lost! Stop ogling my girlfriend, or | swear I'll gouge your eyes out!"
With their loud outburst, | becthe center of attention in the crowd. Even the couple | had overheard earlier
turned to look at me.
I didn't want to be misunderstood, so | quickly explained, "I wasn't staring at her! I'm here to buy a villa!"
