"Alright." said David after looking at his watch.
The Ellison Group was expanding into the women's beauty market, so they placed a high priority on the
cosmetics and skincare sectors. Normally, such recruitment events would be handled by the department
director, but to make sure that only the best talents were hired, David had assigned the vice president to handle
it instead.

the effort."

Just then, someone who Caroline assumed to be the supervisor entered the hall and cleared his throat..
"Attention, everyone. The CEO will be here shortly. Please watch your behavior and make a good impression. No
slip-ups!"
"Oh no, I'm done for," Anna muttered, she felt that her newfound confidence had already evaporated. "The CEO
himself is interviewing us? I'm doomed! I'll freeze up completely! Caroline, what do | do?" Caroline's heart sank.

The supervisor stormed over and snatched her resume
"We'll see just who the hell are you." He sneered. "You have no manners at all! Hah, just a fresh graduate.
How did you even get in here? It's a good thing | caught you. If you stood in front of Mr. David, you'd be a
complete eyesore!"
Caroline didn't reply.
She merely stared at the space behind him.
