“Understood,” Candice nodded. Then she turned to Celeste and added, “Ms. Rodriguez, Professor Sweeney said

if Mr. Yoder isn’t available, he’s happy to fly here just to meet with you.

“He said your paper is full of brilliant insights, and he hopes to have a deep conversation with you.”

Celeste replied, “I won't have teither. Please helpdecline on my behalf.”

“Understood.”

At this Jorge and Linda’s expressions shifted.
