Eric held on, his fingers warm against her skin. His eyes, barely open, searched her face before he leaned in and
kissed her.
Hadley froze. Her eyes flew open in shock.
The man holding her didn’t stop; his kiss only grew deeper, more consuming.
Out in the hallway, Ayla clutched the room card, pacing in tight, frustrated circles.
